About

Hi, I am Stan Cabigas, a Filipino freelancer and currently helping businesses with email copywriting.

I’m also a photographer and writer based in Cebu and can travel around the country or region. My ethnicity is a mixture of Filipino, Chinese and a minority, the Subanen tribe of Western Mindanao. I call Cebu as my permanent home, studied in Manila, worked in the cities of Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Makati, the Philippines. I was a telecoms engineer for nine years and in 2006 pursued my interest in Photography.

My work has been exhibited in major cities in Asia and Europe as well as attended local and international photography workshops. I have been the principal photographer working on several coffeetable books. I have contributed for both online and print publications and have taught Photography via workshops and in an academic setting. I also have been a travel columnist under, Langyaw Travel, for Manila Bulletin’s Going Places magazine from 2017-2019. I have also been featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Cebu Pacific Air’s inflight magazine, Smile and thrice in GMA TV including their Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho program.
