Nestled in the heart of Santa Fe in Bantayan Island, I stayed in Ceda Guest House and photographed its spaces amidst enjoying the wonderful food and places that the island offers. The two-story structure, positioned gracefully behind the ancestral family house of Santa Fe’s first mayor. The three rooms designed for 2-3 guests boast a balance of space, functionality, and style. The dorm-type rooms with bunk beds are not only convenient for group travelers but also showcase a smart utilization of space. An intriguing highlight is the bedding—blankets made of inabel, an exquisite Ilocano weave, add a unique and indigenous touch to the sleeping arrangements.
