Chaho Now is a modern tea cafe specializing in matcha from Japan. Established in 2005, it has branches around Bangkok. This one with the beautiful interior woodwork featured here is their Silom branch.
I just came from having coffee from one of the stalls in Silom Complex when, for a moment, my gaze was stopped at the Chaho Now tea cafe beside me. The interesting interiors caught my attention with its simple but modern interior woodwork. A close inspection reveals a texturized and uneven surface that add to its appeal.
It was like a 3D mesh rendering of a surface with all these triangular forms. I love the way the interior woodworks’ walls and ceiling seem to play with the light and its overall good vibe. Unfortunately, the shop’s workspace is a bit cluttered and distracts from the interesting design.
